See this is why I don't f--- with Virginia...

But before I get to that, I just witnessed the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a football game.

Pittsburgh and Louisville are playing and on the opening kick a Pittsburgh player fumbles the kick and Louisville recovers it in the endzone. ESPN doesn't even go to commercial, Louisville kicks-off again and the same player that fumbled the ball, takes the kick and HOUSES IT. Yeah, he ran it back. There were 3 kickoffs in the first 32 seconds of the game.

On to Virginia. Those of you that don't live in the DC area or in VA haven't seen the campaign adss for the Virginia gubernatorial candidates. Now, I've never seen anything like this before. If this is the kind of mudslinging we have to look forward to in the next presidential election, then I'm afraid humans will be nearing their end on this planet.

Jerry Kilgore is the Republican candidate and Tim Kaine is the Democratic candidate. Kilgore had made two commercials criticizing Kaine of not enforcing the death penalty. I'm watching the ad in sheer amazement because I couldn't see myself criticizing someone for NOT wanting to kill someone.

So, Tim Kaine comes out with a rebuttal saying that while the death penalty goes against his religious beliefs, as governor of Virginia he would enforce the death penalty. Excuse for the next phrase you're about to read because it is a bit harsh and insensitive. Tim Kaine, YOU BIG PUSSY. This is one of the reasons I'm not a democrat anymore. You let someone muscle you into doing something you don't believe in. Now I understand that you CAN NOT mix politics and religion, however, is being governor more important to you than everlasting life? Look, if you lose on the dealth penalty, then so be it. What kind of man are you to not stand up for what you believe in?

Tim Kaine; Jerry Kilgore just punked you and no...not like the Ashton Kutcher kind.

Aim High Fellas

I saw my inspiration this weekend. The guy that just proved to me that I can get ANY woman I want. I won't name any names here, but I just think this is absolutely amazing.

So a friend of the family and her husband threw a party recently. Now, she is SERIOUS. I'm mean she been serious since the first time I saw her when I was in the second grade. Face, body...the total package.

Now, her husband is a...how should a say...off-brand type dude. So much so that I used to be fired up that she married HIM. Now, it wasn't like I was going to be with her because she's a lot older than me, but if I had to stop fantasizing about her, at least it would be because she had a worthwhile dude.

But as I sat there and watched this Bamma, I just thought to myself, "Man, this is amazing. If he got her, I know can get something comparable."

So fellas, aim for the sky. At the club, go at the tightest youngin' in there. Trust me if it means you might end up with someone like female I'm talking about, than it's worth the risk.

Now go out there and get at 'em.

Flag on the Play

So let's talk about the NFL today. I've said what I had to say about the NBA for a little while so let's get to football.

I got an issue with something. There seems to be more of hypocrisy in the NFL about what's right and what's wrong than with other sports. They sponsored games such as NFL Blitz which was extremely violent and advertised self-expression while at the same time outlawing "team" celebrations after touchdowns. They market players who have either been accused or convicted of felonies, but "Got in their Feelings" when ESPN produced the show Playmakers (Playmakers was a show that displayed the "other" side of Pro Football). They freaked out when Janet pulled a partially covered breast out on Super Bowl Sunday, but allow teams to have cheerleaders wearing little more.

Now, I noticed something else yesterday. After the first week of the season the NFL asked all networks to not show previews of Two for the Money, a movie about sports gambling. Now, personally, I can see why they would not want to be apart of a film advocating gambling. However, I did find it a little troubling that they'd allow previews of Get Rich or Die Tryin, a movie that clearly is going to involve guns, violence and the drug trafficing business. Please tell me which one is worst.

Where's your rationale on one and not the other. Even if football's a sport and gambling on football is pretty legal in many places, tell me how that's worst than drug trade and it's consequences/benefits (Which is NOT legal). Maybe I'm crazy...Maybe I'm not, but will somebody please let me know why gambling is worst than the drug trade.
