My trip to the Southside

OY!!! Nah, I really didn't go to Southeast, but they sure were in full effect Saturday night at the Broadwater mansion. Now, I'm never going to get OY out of my head because they were saying it so much Saturday night. It was cool though because I had fun. It was also nice to have the tables turned. For so many years I've had to drive all over town to the club or to the Go-Go, and Saturday I had bands playing at a spot that I could walk to (I wouldn't recommend it, but it can be done). I had a lot of fun, but I did notice some very disturbing things.

It's over for some of yall. If you a 36-year-old man, you DO NOT need to be in the Go-Go shouting out your neighborhood. Come on now. How are you damn near somebody grandfather still yelling out "F-Mob don't play dat shit," or "Don't f--k wit dat 14th and Fairmont." Let it go. Ladies, you're in your 40's, go see Chuck. You have no business at the TCB and Backyard show. Tryna dance with dudes old enough to be your son. Your breast are sagging, your ass had no shape and the skin hanging from your arm looks like pizza dough. Go home.

It was a group called DC Rap Divas on stage trying to rap between the sets of Backyard and TCB. They were talking real greasy on stage. Let me say this to these broads: Nobody wants to hear ladies talking about shooting folks in the heads and people don't wanna f--k with them. So what you're not talking about slutting it up like Lil Kim in your songs, but tell me how talking about killing folks is better. Yeah, you from a tough neighborhood whoopty whomp. Try saying something we've never heard before.

So the Wizards let Larry Hughes go...the more things change, the more they stay the same.

I waited like 8 months to see War of the Worlds. The movie was good until the ending. They could've done better than that.

OY!!!
