Some Mo' Random Stuff

Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney must've been watching this:

"Don't you know who the f... I am?"

In other news, my cousin is getting married this weekend and I'm excited for two reasons. Reason number one is his fiancee is from Trinidad (not the island but the neighborhood in NE D.C.). My family that's coming up for the wedding are conservative Jehovah's Witnesses from the South. CULTURE SHOCK. It's gonna be CLASSIC.

Second reason is my cousin is devoted to his religion and living his life the right way. Thus, he is a virgin. For the first time in his life, he's going to get some. I am VERY happy for him for that reason. He probably won't last a minute, but he'll never forget it. A 24 year-old virgin...goodness.

Last thing...I went to the club last week for the first time in like four months and some funny stuff happened. My homebody convinced me to go to Platinum on Saturday. Now I had been to Platinum before on a Saturday and it wasn't like this. The quality of women had squared and then cubed. So I'm like man "what's going on in here?"

So I'm in the corner and all of sudden 3 tall guys stand next to me...one has REALLY wild hair, one has cornrows and one has a buzzcut and is white. My homie goes "Hey...ain't that cuz that play for Cleveland," in referring to cuz with the wild hair. Yeah, he was right, as matter of fact all three play for the Cavs (Anderson Varejao, Aleksandr Pavlovic and Ira Newble). I'm like damn they down here chillin' mighty hard.

Thirty minutes later I'm on the dance floor 2-stepping with a nice young lady and then all of a sudden I'm pushed out of the way. First I see a rather large man in a black suit. Then I see Damon Jones followed by Flip Murray, Lebron James, Drew Gooden, Donyell Marshall and Larry Hughes. They go straight to one of the VIP sections of the club. This is funny because girls were literally climbing up to try to get up there to be with them. One girl, who I guess didn't meet their approval, was sent to the floor.

I felt bad for the other three Cavs though. While their teammates were getting all this love from the ladies, they're in the corner. Just sippin on a drink and didn't have nearly the experience their teammates had. Sad case for a millionaire basketball player.

...Back to Damon Jones tho. I guess this may sound like hate, but dis fool is out of control. YOU ARE NOT A STAR. You have a decent jumper and that's it. You are a career journeyman. You never are in the same city two years in a row. Damon Jones: The Monster Shaq Created.
