"I caught you a succulent bass"

Man...I just saw Napoleon Dynamite the other night and that joant was kinda funny. When Napoleon and Pedro were on the bike and Uncle Rico hit Napoleon in the face with that steak, I lost it. Then, when that bamma hooked hisself up to the "Time Machine" and shocked his balls, I lost it again. That movie was pretty funny.

Because of how boring my job is, I've been doing a lot of reading lately. I'm on my 5th book in about 7 days and that is just said that I've only being doing this reading at work. A Raisin in the Sun was pretty good. I also read Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and I believe it is the best book I've ever read. Right now, I'm reading Gather Together in My Name, the sequel to I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, and it's not as good.

The last book I read though was called, The Other Woman. It was a black romance book and normally I wouldn't read something like this, but it's not like my house is a library and I was getting desperate. The book was actually pretty good, but the author disturbs me. I don't want to ruin the book for someone who wants to read it so I'm not going to say what happen, but damn. What kind of person sits around and thinks something up like this...seriously. It's a really good storyline, but, WOW.

As I'm writing this, I'm watching the Nationals game thinking how surreal this is. It's really hard to believe that they're playing a real baseball game at RFK. I"m planning on going to the game on Saturday just to make sure it's actually happening.

I'm wrong for not calling Karl yet.

I've been thinking a lot lately because I'm kind a miserable right now. I thank god everyday for waking me up and I know that everyday I live is a blessing, but I've been really unhappy with my situation for a while. I had to think of when I was at my happiest and where that place was. While I can't go back to school, I have to get away from here. I've decided that DC isn't the place for me anymore and I'm going to North Carolina. This is home and home is where the heart is, but I have to move on.
