BRACKETOLOGY: Living for the Weekend

This is my favorite weekend of the year (I've taken off of work for the past two days for evidence) and I'm looking forward to seeing how things shake out. There are a lot of storylines.

The #1 seeds: Who will they be? There's six teams going for four spots. With UCLA losing, things will be quite tense in Westwood this weekend because all they can do is sit back and watch things unfold. Ohio St and Wisconsin will cancel each other out and maybe Texas A&M beats Kansas again. Not one dominant team though. That's amazing to me. No team can go into this weekend KNOWING its a number one.

WAC/A-10/C-USA/SEC/Mountain West: These are all conferences where there's a real chance that a team, that wasn't going to make the NCAA tournament, makes a run and wins the automatic bid. You should especially watch the WAC and the A-10. I don't trust Nevada or Xavier to take care of business. Watch out for the St. Louis Bilikens.

Bubble teams: Florida St, Air Force, Old Dominion and Drexel. Air Force was in this tournament comfortable and then imploded and now they're going to be a little tight around the collar this weekend. If Florida St BEATS (not just looks good) North Carolina...count them. I just can't take ODU or Drexel out of this bracket. I don't see anybody else with better resumes.
